Christmas Party

It doesn't feel too much like Christmas around here...which I am sad about, but what do you do?

We aren't setting our tree up this year, there's no snow, and today it was 65 degrees.  

Although I do keep drinking my yummy Stephen's Chocolate Mint Truffle hot chocolate, 

and I go to Starbucks at least once a week for their Caramel Apple Spiced cider that is to die for.  

Even in this not so chilly weather.  

I don't mind it though.  

(except the whole Christmas decorations thing)

Because in a few weeks I will be living in Utah for about a month and then off to faarrrreeeezing Michigan.  

I looked today.  It's 10 degrees colder than Utah.
It probably feels 20x colder because of the humidity.
Bone chilling.  Sounds appetizing right?!  

But one thing that got me into the Christmas spirit was this last weekend.  

We attended Cason's work Christmas party at the St. Regis Resort in Dana Point.  

It was a night full of friends, fancy food, Shirley Temples, and dancing!

      

We had a great time!  And we'll miss our dear friends!

Three Months

I wish I could just freeze time.

Right now.  Right at this stage.

Millie girl is 3 months old now.  She gets more fun as the months pass by.

She is very CURIOUS about the world around her.  

She stares more intently at pictures, people, toys and pretty much everything.  

She loves her little long FINGERS.  

She sucks on them all day long, even when her belly is stuffed full.  

She is quite the drooler!  She constantly has a shiny little chin from all that slobber.  

She loves KISSES!  

She smiles every time someone kisses those chubby cheeks.  

Speaking of CHUBBY, she has two chins and two big cheeks.  

She also has three rolls on each thigh that I love to squeeze.

She weighs 14lbs 7oz now!

And is getting heavier by the second. 

She is my little pack of sugar!  

She is constantly TALKING!  

She loves it.  She talks so much that it's hard for her to fall asleep.  

Sometimes I will even catch her cooing in her sleep.  

It brings a smile to my face.

She isn't laughing yet, but is so very close. 

She loves her MAMA.

And knows when I am not holding her.

Her little blue eyes follow me around the room and she watches everything I do!

She loves her DADDY.

She smiles from ear to ear as he whistles tunes, and loves when he sings songs to her.

Millie loves to play with him and would all day long.

She loves cuddling with her dad and snuggles so close.

She is so very SWEET. 

She has the sweetest little spirit about her.

She is GROWING way too fast for me!  

I just want her to stay my little baby.  

and never grow big.  

I love my little Millie.

She will always be my little Millie girl!

Cason was offered a new job and it looks like we will be taking it!

I've watched this about 50 times.

 Every time I watch it puts a smile on my face.
Do you hear that little giggle at the end??

It wasn't quite a giggle, but close!!

Turn up the volume and enjoy!

"Grease Lightning"

So this year, our Halloween costumes were really last minute.  

Like 4 hours before, last minute.  

Hopefully, next year, I will plan a little better.

We decided to do the whole "Grease" theme.  Hey, you gotta do it once in your life right?!

Let's just say, I should have worn a poodle skirt instead of leggings.  

And I did a horrible job at spraying Cason's hair black. whoops.

But it was still fun!! And I'm glad we dressed up! 

We went to our ward Trunk-or-Treat, ate a little Chili, and handed out candy.

We had a great night!

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween and ate tons and tons of candy!

Now onto Thanksgiving!
