4TH OF JULY 2013

yes, we are busy over here.  blogging has taken a backseat.  but as long as it gets documented for the books right?

this year for the 4th of july we stayed in michigan.  we went over to our friend's house and played.
we ate bbq, the girls splashed in water, played a few water balloon games, and finished the night off with some fireworks.  it was pretty low key, but fun to spend it with friends.

4th of July

It's not too late to post about the 4th of July, is it? ha!

This year for the 4th we went to Utah to celebrate with family.
We did our traditional parade, picnic and a few of us ended the night with the Stadium of Fire.

We tried to get a picture with all four of us, but were very unsuccessful.

You probably know by now, but I am obsessed with matching.
Millie, Kate and Ivy all matched.  Obsessed.
And, of course, I didn't get one of all three of them together.

The Stadium of Fire was a lot of fun this year.
We boogied the night away to Beach Boys.

We are so thankful for our country and the freedoms that we enjoy.
And how great is it that we have a full day to celebrate?!
One of my favorite holidays that's for sure!

4th of July

For the fourth of July this year, we went to Utah to enjoy the festivities.
Julianne, Lindsay, My dad, Jeremiah, Cason and I ran the freedom run 10k race.
We all finished!!

After, we enjoyed the parade with everyone.

Grandma, Charlie and Millie

The sweet Alexander Family

We came home and enjoyed a fabulous bbq and then Cason, Millie and I ventured up to Sundance to enjoy the mountains that we don't have in Michigan.

Obviously, our Millie girl is our pride and joy...because majority of the pictures we take are of her.
But how can we resist?

Later that night we watched fireworks across the valley from our balcony and just chatted.
We  are very greatful for our freedom and the chance to be able to celebrate our country.

Hope you had a Happy 4th of July!
