Last weekend I cried. In fact, I cried a lot!

It was a very spiritual weekend and I definitely missed my family. Sarah and I hugged when we saw each other, and we cried. It made me feel loved!

Lauren blessed sweet baby Kate Rose.

and I cried.

Brian gave a beautiful blessing.

I am so thankful for the Priesthood in my life! I am thankful that Brian holds the Priesthood and was able to bless his baby girl.

I'm also thankful that Cason holds the Priesthood and will be able to exercise it when we have babies of our own.

I held Kate and tears rolled down my cheeks. She has such a sweet spirit about her. It is so amazing to me how perfect and sweet a baby is. Their smell is so delicate, their breath is soft and they are so fragile and precious. I love it!

I put Jack down for a nap. and I cried. I am such a boob.

He had fallen asleep with his basketball in one hand and his other hand behind his head. I thought it was cute, so I wanted to get a picture. I went in to snap away and he woke up. Dang it! Lauren walked in and said, "want Ro ro (that's my nickname) to lay by you or mom?" Jack said, "Ro ro." So I laid by him and tickled his almost perfect face.

"Ro ro?" He said.

I answered,"Yah?"

"Thanks."

I cried!! It was the sweetest thing. He was so thankful that I was laying by him tickling his face.

I got to play with Owen. He is a spitting image of his dad! Such a cute boy with long legs and big blue eyes! Love that sweet smile! Love him!

I hung out with my girlfriends. We reminisced about old times of spying, laughing, drive-bys, and just what every girl does. It was fun and so good to see them!

Love her!! We went shopping, ran errands, and chatted.

Chatted with my dad! It was much needed and I'm so glad I got to see him!
It is so cute to see him with this baby girl!
He loves her so much!

Saw grandparents whom I love! (grandpa not pictured.)

and hung out with my brothers who are hilarious!

I teared up saying goodbye to my family.
It was hard, but I am glad to be home with Cason!
I missed him dearly!
It was a great vacation, and I still miss you family! Wanna come now??

25% CPA Certified

Cason is 25% CPA certified. There are four sections to the CPA exam, and Cason passed one that he took in January.
I am so proud of him, and I think he was proud of himself (if not, he should be)!!!
Here is proof how excited he was!

the city of angels

Cason and I decided we wanted to be tourists for a day.
So, we made our way down to LA to spend our Valentines.
We went to the Fashion District-which was nothing
like I thought it was! We felt like we were in Mexico.
They sell some random things there, and it makes me wonder how they stay in business!

We drove through Hollywood, and made our way to...



We went up through that ritzy town lined with palm trees and looked at all the mansions.



Then, we went to the street where my great grandma
Rose Marie Reid
(who was a famous swimsuit designer)
used to live.
(excuse my claim to fame. hehe)


Then we made our way over to the cheapy cheap Rodeo Drive.
Boy was that a ritzy roo! It was fun to look and window shop.



We finished our night off at Outback Steakhouse enjoying a delicious
fillet mignon and seared steak.



Oh, I love him! (sigh)



It was a very lovely Valentine's Day. Thanks love.

And oh my word are they good!
I grab about six.
Ok maybe eight or nine or ten or twenty, and say "ok, I'm done!"

But then my hand secretly reaches back in the bag and grabs more.
But I'm not mad. At least right now I'm not.
We'll see if I'm mad when I start running slower...

Why do they have to put them on the shelf 2 months before Easter? Why not just 1 month?

Happy Valentine's Day!!

they say "practice makes perfect"

Last weekend we watched our little nephew Davey.


He was such a good boy and we had so much fun with him! It was great practice! We'd probably say we are ready for kiddos, but the whole sleeping thing??

I dunno.

He went down for bed at 730ish, then woke up at 1am, and then again at 330am and then was up for the day at 630am.

He was too sweet though.

I wasn't even mad.

At 330am he just laid in bed, kicked his feet, giggled and talked.

I couldn't help but laugh.

How could you not love this sweet face??

...and we live right by those mailboxes. And I was home alone that night until 10pm with the door unlocked. Aren't I lucky? Stuff like this scares me. Hopefully we didn't have anything too important in our mailbox. There are some crazy people out there!
