Bonnie Bon

Yes, we are still alivejust been busy with finals, CPA tests, school and jobs. A little update on us:

Cason passed his 3rd CPA exam and took his 4th. Which is the LAST one!! Hallelujah! Praise the heavens! Now we are just waiting on results. Cross your fingers!

I started school on Monday and boy has it been a rude awakening! Not the actual school part, but the world that we live in. Can I just say how terrified I am to raise my children in this world?? There are some sick people out there.

This last week Cason had some pretty late nights. One night he didn’t get home till 1:30AM! I am starting to rethink his joband I think he is too!

I start work at 7am now instead of 9:30am. It is killing me! I was getting up before at 6:15am ish, but to go to work at 7am?? it's tough. (I do like it better though)

We are supposed to be moved out by the end of Octoberwhat do we do?? Why does CA have to be so darn expensive?

I live in a pretty quiet world! I wake up..Cason is already gone to work or is still sleeping, I go to school..don’t talk to anyone because either they are smoking, talking about how they are 7 weeks pregnant and don’t know how to tell their mom because their mom hates their boyfriend, or I don’t know anyone, and then I come home and Cason isn’t home yet. So I eat dinner by myself. Pretty quiet!

Last weekend some of our dear friends from UT came to town. We always try to get together with them whenever possible because we don’t see them much and we love hanging out with them!

We went down to T-Street,

ate a bucket o chicken from KFC,

chatted while the boys surfed

roasted marshmallows

and ate yummy s’mores!

Instead of chocolate we substituted Reese’s peanut butter cupsMMM!!!

after we left, Case and I went to get gas and this is what we saw. What does she think she's going to find in a Ralph's dumpster? Raw chicken?

Lots of (weird) people here in CA dig through dumpsters to find things they can recycle...you get money for it. Not a lot though. Only a few cents for every bottle you bring in. Not worth it to me!

(she was so engaged in her "digging" that she didn't even notice us taking this picture. flash and everything.)

crazy!

so..that's us in a big nutshell!

{Darlings}

I just have to say how much I love Etsy.

I love it!

(Although it is hard to find things, with their limited search option.)

You can always stumble upon something

cute/fun/sentimental/vintage/classy/darling.

If you haven’t explored. try it!

Random

Tonight I spent 5 hours doing my math homework. Working and reworking EVERY SINGLE problem. Some i didn't even come to a conclusion with the answer.

I am so over it.
(for tonight anyway)

Who thought of math anyway? :)
I don't think I'll ever use the technical stuff in my life.
But I guess it'll only make me smarter right?!

Anway, Remember this??

thought I'd post this video to bring memories back to many of you....
Heather (I think it was you, or Rebb or Katie??)

I laugh EVERY time!
(ps. what are his dance moves?)

Classic.

Weekend Walk

This last weekend we decided to do something a little different.

We had to return some things at the mall, so we decided to trek on foot.

It was the perfect night!
the weather was perfect, we were with each other and we were at the mall.
What more could you ask for, right??

We were just about the only ones in the mall...It was kinda nice!

2 plus miles later we were at Chili's enjoying a little dessert.

Within 5 minutes...it was gone.
Great way to end a night!

I think we'll be using this method of transportation a little more often!

Fourth of July

For the fourth of July we drove to Utah to spend time with family.
We went to the parade and heard loud sirens, guns and marching bands.
We watched the cheerleaders, floats and pretty girls do their signature waves.

It was so fun to see all the babies. They grow so fast!!

Loud firetrucks!!

We had a family lunch after the parade and then headed down to the Stadium of Fire
to hear the Jonas Brothers rock their beat!
We danced the night away!

Thanks to my mom for making it all happen!!
She loves the fourth of July and stays up all night to save the perfect seat at the parade.
We love you mom, dad and family!
Thanks for a fun weekend!

Smashball

This little lady is in town and we have been having a blast!!!

We went to church today and enjoyed listening to great words spoken about our Savior Jesus Christ and our country.
Sang the Star-Spangled-Banner. (it was a lot more powerful with the organ)
I am proud to be an American!!
Came home, took naps, went visiting teaching with the last few days that are left, and made dinner.

After dinner we decided to go to the park and play a little smashball..
They played while I took photos.

It was great to get out of the house on the sabbath and enjoy this beautiful summer weather!!

We are loving it!

And we are getting very anxious for the 4th!
