Yes, it's true!
Cason is
25.
twenty-five!!

We were in San Francisco for part of his birthday and then driving home for the rest.
I feel bad for the guy.
We are always traveling on his birthday!
At least he gets to go fun places because it's the day after our anniversary.
Bitter/sweet.

While he was getting ready for the day, I decorated the room to make it feel a little like his birthday.

The birthday boy!

He loves smashball at the beach.
Only his parents own one, so I thought I'd get him one all to himself.

This is him so excited about his last gift!
I love how excited he gets over things.

This watch he has been wanting since Christmas. Finally!!

We slept in, opened presents and then went to breakfast.
But this was no ordinary breakfast. It was at the famous "Mama's".

We waited 2 hours in the freezing cold just to eat here.

But boy was it good!!

Then we were off on the road, and now we're home!

Happy Birthday Cason!!
I love you!

Help!

We are going to San Francisco for our Anniversary.

We don't know what do to!

Where do we eat?

Where do we shop?

What do we do?

Anyone have any ideas or great places for us to go?

Obviously the obvious like Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square.
What are the secret places?
The must-do's?

Let us know! Diana? Jana?

Tricks for the Everyday Wife

My mother is amazing. She knows every little or big trick there is.
I guess she had to with 7 kids under the age of 9.
Try them! You'll thank me! (or my mom)
Or you might already know them...

To get pen out of clothing or anything for that matter use HAIRSPRAY!.
Spray a few squirts on and throw it in the wash.

I love getting into my bed with newly washed sheets that are crisp and cold.
This trick will do just that!
Throw your sheets in the washer, wash them like normal, and then put them in the dryer.
Don't dry them for the full time. You want them to be a little damp.
Put them on your bed damp.
Don't fully make your bed until they have dried.
Your husbands will be happy!

To get grease out of anything-put Dawn dish washing liquid on the greasy stain.
Put in washer and the grease is gone!
(I feel like I'm doing an infomercial)

I hate that mildewy scent on my kitchen towels that I wipe down the counter with.
Put them in the microwave for 30 seconds (wet of course) and the smell is gone. (I learned this from Cason's mom)

Or if they are white, throw them in the washer with bleach.

To get your house smelling yummy and clean, fill your sink with a little hot water and pour pine-sol or Mr. Clean in. (you kinda need alot) Yum yum!

Happy Housekeeping!!

Mamma Mia

This weekend my mom came to visit and we had so much fun!
I have never been more full in my life than I was this last weekend.
We ate out almost every meal, but it was delicious!

We ate at BJ's where Cason and I first met.

A yummy Mexican restaurant called El Maguey Mexican Food-very good!!
(If you haven't been and live in the area, it's by The Mission off Ortega Highway.)
Thanks mom for introducing us. This will be a regular now.

We went to Balboa Island and road this six seater bike.
We were dying laughing. Very fun!

Mom and Cason were craving some lobster and shrimp,
so we went to Joe's Crab Shack.
I had never been before, but it was very entertaining and yummy!
Never knew I liked seafood!
We were all very pleased with the meal.

Our home is a little lonely now. We already miss you!
Thanks for a fun week/weekend!
We love you!

Ps. Sarah and Jeff moved here for the summer
and we are excited for the many fun things ahead!
