Help!

We are going to San Francisco for our Anniversary.

We don't know what do to!

Where do we eat?

Where do we shop?

What do we do?

Anyone have any ideas or great places for us to go?

Obviously the obvious like Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square.
What are the secret places?
The must-do's?

Let us know! Diana? Jana?

  3. I don't know anything about San Francisco. But I do know that every time I look at your blog I am in awe of how beautiful you are! Not to mention how amazing Julie is :)
p.s. i applaud you for meeting your hubby at bj's. any potential i would have at doing that would be RUINED after he watched me down 5 pieces of pizza and a party platter pizzookie. anyway, longest comment on the BLOGOSPHERE award goes to me. loves.

  6. I recommend taking a segway tour of the city. So fun! (You don't know me, but I was in Cason's ward at Belmont). :)

  7. -Definitely plan a day or afternoon to spend down by the wharf... Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and Ghirardelli Square, etc. There are lots of cute little shops, great restaurants (don't leave without getting clam chowder in a bread bowl) and its a great "people watching" spot (look for the bush man!)
-If you've never visited Alcatraz, taking the ferry out to the island and then taking the tour (headphones are a must!) is really fun.
-Obviously shopping in Union Square :)
-While it might get expensive to ride the cable cars everywhere... plan to ride them at least once because it really is a fun experience :) You can catch one that takes you from Union Square down to the wharf - its a beautiful ride!
-If you like Thai food Lemongrass is an awesome restaurant! 2348 Polk st. (415) 578-5571
-Golden Gate Park is a gorgeous place to visit. There are some great museums (the DeYoung is amazing!) or you can just rent bikes and go for a ride - it's huge!
-I guess a trip to SF wouldn't be complete without driving down Lombard Street (the crookedest street in the world) It's actually kind of fun and the houses around it are breathtaking!

You're going to have such a blast! I hope the weather cooperates for you and that you have so much fun! Let me know if you need any other suggestions!

    -Wicked at the Orpheum Theater
-Ride a bike (rent at fisherman's wharf) across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, take the ferry back
-Eat at The Franciscan Crab Restaurant near pier 43 at fisherman's wharf (during sunset is my favorite)
    -Shopping in Union Square
    -Alcatraz
