testing testing 1..2...3
We're still alive, just busy being students! Cason is studying for the CPA exam which he is taking in January. Poor guy...leaves for work around 8 am, comes home, eats, then studies his heart out until bedtime. He just goes and goes and goes. He is very motivated!!
Unlike me!!! I am having the hardest time finishing school. Honestly, I really would like to be a stay at home mom with 5 kids-doing laundry, going to the park, chasing kids around, and doing hard things like that. But in order to that I have to finish school. So I have finally buckled down and am going to finish!!! I am starting to study for the compass test to see what English and Math classes I can take. Oh what am I doing with my life? I don't really know. Any suggestions on what my major should be? No, I still don't know what my major is. :)

Good for you Marie. I know you don't feel like it right now, but someday you will wish you were back in school...and you will also be so glad that you finished as you realize how freaking much stuff there is to teach a child.
ReplyDeleteDo something short. I LOVED my major: American Studies. Vanessa is actually thinking about doing this too. It is only 45 credits long so I graduated in three years and loved all of my classes. History and English are pretty short too. MFHD is good too if you really don't want to do any more school and you really want to have 5 kids...gosh, you're ambitious.
You're baby hungry marie!! haha Thanks for the call last week. You're a sweetie. I am going to call you back. Oh and, I'm getting married next week.
ReplyDeleteGood for Cason! I am with yah...I need to finish school! IT's so hard to decide on a major! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHey Marie, it was good to see you guys last weekend--it has gotten harder and harder to all get together as we have all gotten older but I still LOVE it whenever we get to be with as many "Greens" as possible. On another note--enjoy your time with just Cason, you'll be chasing kids around soon enough. Time goes too fast! --Erin
ReplyDeleteI don't know what my major is either!! I'm finally getting my butt back in school but I already have my associates and have NO idea what I want to do for my bachelors!! What are your options?? Maybe I can help you narrow it down :)
ReplyDeleteP.s. I also just want to stay at home and chase around kids!!
ReplyDeleteHey Marie! We actually got the wooden star from my mom! Who the heck knows how long and where she got it from! HAHA..I absolutely love your tree! I love the ribbon you put on yours! Yeah the long hair is fun but he looks nice with the short hair!
ReplyDeleteMARIE!!!! how did you find me! I have been thinking of you lately?? haha I'm so happy you left me a comment. COngrats on being married- what a handsome guy! And beautiful wedding, AMAZING apartment...where did you find that one! you are such a cute decorator. What are you up too! obviously school!! good luck. Can't wait to read more!

ReplyDeletei hate deciding but I think i finally have!!! I took some home and family living classes freshman year and they were my favorite. and i want to be a stay at home mommy too so i'm going in Home and Family Living- short major and fun classes! and i'm minoring in International Development because it focuses on non-profits and i want to get involved in the MORE Project (monavie's non-profit), etc.. Im starting classes through Independent Study next semester. Good luck and keep me posted! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks awesome!! I feel ya on the kid thing. I would LOVE to be a stay at home mom. Maybe not 5 kids, but for sure 3 or 4 lol. Mabye you should get started on that ;)
ReplyDeleteI so wish I could help but I had the same stupid problem. All I wanted was to be a mommy and now that I am I love it! But I finally just majored in Home and Family Living at BYU but I don't know if they have that anywhere else. Maybe it's just one of those mormon things. haha Being a Mom and Home and Family Living seemed to mix well.
