25% CPA Certified

Cason is 25% CPA certified. There are four sections to the CPA exam, and Cason passed one that he took in January.
I am so proud of him, and I think he was proud of himself (if not, he should be)!!!
Here is proof how excited he was!

the city of angels

Cason and I decided we wanted to be tourists for a day.
So, we made our way down to LA to spend our Valentines.
We went to the Fashion District-which was nothing
like I thought it was! We felt like we were in Mexico.
They sell some random things there, and it makes me wonder how they stay in business!

We drove through Hollywood, and made our way to...



We went up through that ritzy town lined with palm trees and looked at all the mansions.



Then, we went to the street where my great grandma
Rose Marie Reid
(who was a famous swimsuit designer)
used to live.
(excuse my claim to fame. hehe)


Then we made our way over to the cheapy cheap Rodeo Drive.
Boy was that a ritzy roo! It was fun to look and window shop.



We finished our night off at Outback Steakhouse enjoying a delicious
fillet mignon and seared steak.



Oh, I love him! (sigh)



It was a very lovely Valentine's Day. Thanks love.

And oh my word are they good!
I grab about six.
Ok maybe eight or nine or ten or twenty, and say "ok, I'm done!"

But then my hand secretly reaches back in the bag and grabs more.
But I'm not mad. At least right now I'm not.
We'll see if I'm mad when I start running slower...

Why do they have to put them on the shelf 2 months before Easter? Why not just 1 month?

Happy Valentine's Day!!

they say "practice makes perfect"

Last weekend we watched our little nephew Davey.


He was such a good boy and we had so much fun with him! It was great practice! We'd probably say we are ready for kiddos, but the whole sleeping thing??

I dunno.

He went down for bed at 730ish, then woke up at 1am, and then again at 330am and then was up for the day at 630am.

He was too sweet though.

I wasn't even mad.

At 330am he just laid in bed, kicked his feet, giggled and talked.

I couldn't help but laugh.

How could you not love this sweet face??

Do you think we had fun??

...and we live right by those mailboxes. And I was home alone that night until 10pm with the door unlocked. Aren't I lucky? Stuff like this scares me. Hopefully we didn't have anything too important in our mailbox. There are some crazy people out there!
