Genius

This past week has been a real tough one for me. I find myself wanting to give up far more times than finding myself wanting to keep going. The other night I looked at what looked like a hard math equation. It's been over 3 years since I've taken a math class. My math skills have slowly diminished. They just aren't there anymore.

In fact, today at work I could not figure out what half of 90 was, (maybe its from the cold that's coming on) until the patient I was helping realized I was struggling adding her copay total up she chimed in and told me the answer. Then I figured it out.

Duh.

Anyway, as I was looking at this hard math equation I was getting so frustrated. I told Cason that I wasn't going to do my math anymore. I just wanted to fail the class and retake it. He came over and looked at the equation and said, "you just have to use the quadratic formula...

negative b plus minus the square root of b squared minus four a c."

WHAT???

Did you just really say that?

I was amazed!!! My husband is a pure genius! Not only was he right, but he helped change my attitude. I wanted to keep going, and I finally learned it. Husbands are the best aren't they??

Mine is! I mean look at him!!

Yep, that's my guy..

I guess that's how he knows how to surf. He never gave up!

Such a hunk of a man. I love him!...even more than I did yesterday.

Moral of the story...never give up!!

Easter Sundee (better late than never)

We had a great Easter Sunday!

We went to church and then over to Cason's parents for a delicious meal and Easter egg hunt.

I made a Easter basket for Case. It was full of candy, a tie and some nuts for work.

He gave me some pretty Easter Lillies that smell oh so good!

Early Easter Suprise

I came home from work to find this on our doormat.

I waited until Cason got home, which was very hard for me to do!

My family will attest to this that I am the first one to open newly bought chips, cookies, cereal, etc.

I can't wait! I just want to try whatever it is, even if it's not good.

And we FINALLY got our wedding video. We have been waiting for almost a year now.

Our videographer gave us a rough draft, but not the final thing with the spiffy cover.

We got some yummy eggs. Which we've (well I) have probably eaten a whole two bags by myself.

There is something about these eggs.

I can't stop eating them. If there was chocolate cake in front of me,

I could have two bites and be done if I told myself to stop.

Not these eggs. I just pop one after the other in. They are killing me!

And this great movie! We loved it! Definitely a kids movie, but

it was hilarious!

Thanks mama and dad! We loved it! It was a great suprise, and we love mail! hint hint.

Still Here

We are still here doing the same old thing. Nothing new. Just work, Conference and a little play. This last weekend we went on a few walks...and took pictures. These are for my mom.

Easter must be just around the corner, because we saw a lot of these! (bunnies are everywhere in CA.)
