It is a problem! and our maintenance people obviously don't think it is.
A few weeks ago, we smelt this nasty smell creeping in our house. We deep cleaned, and checked everywhere, but the smell was STILL there. We called the front office to see if someone would come out and fix the problem. Well a month later....it's still there! They supposedly looked in the vents and didn't see anything, but how could they when the vents are only 1/2 foot by 1 foot? They put a deodorizer in our "attic", but that clearly hasn't helped.
Cason related it to someone who accidentally went to the bathroom in their pants. Are you going to just spray perfume on yourself thinking the smell is going to go away? No you can't do that! You have to get rid of the smell. You can't just smother it. (Sorry if that was too descriptive.) Anyway, it grosses me out that there are rodents living with us. Why can't we have a discounted rent for this month? :) What do we do?? HELP!
I hate managment...we don't have rodents. just to many bugs. gross. They should take care of stuff like that...maybe there is some kind of ordinance you can find and hold it over their head...about establishing clean places for their tenants? otherwise I'm no help! but I hope you get rid of the buggar!
ReplyDeleteThat's disgusting. I hate renting. Landlords are never the best. Our place was flooded on Christmas Eve and it is still not fixed...can't you just wait to own your own place?

ReplyDeletei agree with the comment above! but seriously, we know exactly how you feel. we had TWO real, live mice in our place and we've told them millions of times to come and spray--but somehow they always conveniently forget. my advice: be glad you haven't actually seen one! that will scar you...

That sucks! we had ants and they came and sprayed like 5 times for free luckily but anyway..they never went away and then finally a month or so later they just stopped coming back! that sucks though! Have you tried mouse traps? gross sick rodents! i'm so sorry! that sucks!
