I was born and raised in Provo, Utah. I met my husband on a blind date in California, and we continued to date at BYU. We fell in love, married and moved to southern California. We had a baby girl two years later and then moved to the mid-west, which is where we currently reside.
I am a wife and a mother. I love being a mom, although it is hard work. I don't like doing dishes, laundry or cleaning toilets...but somehow I find myself doing these things a little too often.

I enjoy running, taking pictures, the beach, the sunshine, treats, DIY projects, shopping, blogging, and eating out.
I am quite the homebody and will stay home any chance I get. I have dreams of owning and decorating my own home someday. And hopefully that someday will happen sooner than later.
My husband works as a financial analyst, while I stay home and play with my baby girl.
At 5 weeks old, my daughter had cataract surgery, and was diagnosed with optic nerve hypoplasia. This blog is where I document her journey as well as DIY projects, things I love and enjoy.
