Lover's Day
Valentine's Day this year was a pretty crazy day.
I took on the challenge to make sugar cookies. Talk about not relaxing. I always forget how long they take to make, and what a big mess they make. But it was fun nonetheless. We have decided to switch off years, so this year was my year.
Woke up...made Cason, Millie and myself breakfast.
Menu:
Orange Julius (my mama used to work there growing up, so she makes them so good!)
sausage, egg and cheese on a english muffin
fruit
Made sugar cookies with Millie and then took them to Cason at work.
Cason came home early from work, we went out to dinner and then went to see "The Vow."
(which I loved by the way. Sobbed through the whole thing.)
It was a great Valentine's Day with my two lovers.
(Millie can still be considered my lover even if she's a girl right?!)
Hope you had a great day of Love!

15 Minute Painting
The other day I thought it would be fun to let Millie try out painting. She liked it...for about 15 minutes.
I love to watch her busy little hands. Always busy.
She got a little thirsty mid-paint, so a drinking she went.
And hey! Why not taste the paint too?!
It wasn't a long 15 minutes...but a fun 15 minutes.
FYI: Today is the last day to enter the giveaway! Go here to enter.

Baby #2: 30 Weeks
This poor child has not had much documentation on this blog. (compared to Millie) But I guess that's how it goes with the second, third, fourth, seventh. It is actually so true! My oldest sister has a box FULL of stuff in my parent's basement...and my box? Well it's no where to be found. If I even have one. :) (I've always been known to be the forgotten child. Middle child.)
Anyway, here I am at 27.5 weeks and 30 weeks. Getting uncomfortable, but that's just what happens! It's been fun to feel our baby girl kick, move and squirm.
And here's the little lady! The ultrasound was surreal. We saw her yawn and we could even see her tongue moving. It made it seem all the more real. We are excited!
And a name? We can't decide on one. It's harder than you think to name a baby girl with a color as her last name. Love the name Ivy, but Ivy Green? She'd definitely get made fun of. So we'll scratch that one off the list.
Happy 30 weeks! 10 more to go!
